What is sinus tarsi?
Sinus tarsi
syndrome is a very small osseous canal inside foot, runs into one’s ankle and
move under the talus bone. We can identify it between talus and calcaneus space.
When you try to press this spot with your fingers, you can easily feel this
area surrounded with bones around it. In canal there are fats, blood vessels,
nerves and some tissues that help to join bones with each other.
Reasons to cause sinus tarsi Syndrome and sings to identify it:
There are many reasons that can result as problem of sinus tarsi Syndrome but most commonly ankle sprain is
counted as major one. Besides this repetitive strain felt while walking or
moving on the flat foot can also cause sinus tarsi Syndrome. Therefore it is important for all to
