History of Avatar:

Avatar, released on 2009 in America is science fiction movie which is written and directed by James Cameron. Cast of movie include Joel David Moore, Sam Worthington, Stephen Lang, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez. In 1994 James Cameron started writing story of avatar, after getting inspired by different comics and science journals. This film was announced right after launch of Titanic by director. He also announced cost of this mega project with number of actors in leading roles. This movie was about to released with help of best visual effect house, who was also partner with Cameron in this movie. Name of partner was Digital Domain, but this project did not work out at that time as director was not satisfied with visuals. Then again in 2005 news about avatar came out through Bloomberg BusinessWeek, it was stated there that Cameron is coming back with his unique concept.

Plot Summary of Avatar:

Story of this movie revolves around tall blue skin creatures lives in Pandora. This land is equipped with natural resources but it is filled with a gas which is poisonous for humans. These blue creatures live in synchronization with nature and worship a tree, which they called their mother goddess Eywa. The Resources Development Administration (RDA) move to Pandora in search of rare minerals in getup of Pandora blue skinned biosphere. Scientists named them Na’vi-human also known as Avatars, they choose Sam Worthington to go between them to collect biological data from there. Head of this program avatar, scientist also go to that territory as a bodyguard for assistance of Sam Worthington.  In Pandora Sam is attacked by different animals and creatures and Zoe Saldana a female Na’vi protect him. She takes Sam to her community with her and ask spiritual leader to accept Sam as member of society.

Head of RDA army, promise to restore his legs after completing this mission of informing about place where Na’vi gathers for worship (Hometree) successfully. Ground on which tree stands is great deposit of Unobtanium, which is a valuable mineral and scientists want to get that. For three months Sam lives in that tribe with natives and learns their tricks and language. After passing a test of selecting a flying dragon for him and flying it, natives add him to his community. After that he and Neytiri select each other as life partners and after that he starts working against RDA team. Soon they come to know this through a video recording made by Sam about his act of disabling a robot attacker. He then commit about it, and reject o be part of their plan onwards.

After coming to know about it RDA team attacks Pandora and Sam help Pandora people in fighting back to them, to prove him a true Na’vi. In the end RDA team and leader were killed by Sam and this tribe was safe once again.

It was fun to watch avatar in 3D technology as this takes you in world of those blue creatures Na’vi.  Story is inspiring as it comes with concept of social development as well as a fiction. It was treat for kids, adults and teens.
